What is the cost of living at Parkview Place?

          Parkview Place is a non-profit organization; rent is not subsidized by the government.

  • A single-occupancy suite (325 sq. ft) as of May 1, 2025 is $2,447.00/month;

  • a double-occupancy suite (435 sq. ft) as of May 1, 2025 is $3,638.00/month;

  • a one-time damage deposit of $250.00 .

 

What services are included in the rent?

  • Residents are served 3 meals and an afternoon snack of fresh fruit daily;

  • 24-hr staffing;

  • laundry service;

  • Shaw satellite television;

  • computer and internet access (free wifi);

  • church service;

  • live music entertainment, activities and day trips.

 

Each suite is equipped with a private bathroom with walk-in shower, small kitchen counter with under-counter bar fridge, two large windows with blinds and two closets. Residents are responsible for their own furniture, telephone line, liability insurance and home care costs.

 

Residents are free to come and go as they please. Parking is available at no charge (winter plug-ins at every stall).

 

A takeout meal program is available and delivered to residents of the community, five days a week at noon, for a cost of $16.00 per meal.

A guest room is available for overnight stays at a cost of $60/night and includes breakfast.

 

There is a waiting list for residency at Parkview Place. Application forms are available from the manager and are accepted on an ongoing basis.
